Treatments

Pre-Emergent Weed Control & Fertilization

Our pre-emergent applications combine a granular herbicide with professional-grade fertilizer to jumpstart your lawn for the season. The first application in February revives your turf from winter stress while creating an 8-week protective barrier against common weeds like crabgrass. A second round in April reinforces this barrier for another 8 weeks of coverage, ensuring your lawn stays clean, healthy, and well-fed into summer.

Winter Fertilization

As the year wraps up, we finish with a high-quality, slow-release winter fertilizer. This final feeding strengthens root systems, thickens turf, and builds carbohydrate reserves to help your lawn withstand cold temperatures. Winter fertilization sets the stage for an early green-up in spring while keeping your lawn healthy during dormancy.

Broadleaf Weed Control

We use selective liquid herbicides designed to eliminate broadleaf weeds while keeping your fescue turf safe and thriving. Products such as Game On, Momentum, and Tenacity target tough weeds like dandelions, clover, and chickweed without harming grass. Treatments are performed in late spring and late summer to keep your lawn consistently weed-free.

Fungicide Applications

Fescue lawns in the Carolinas are highly susceptible to fungal diseases such as Brown Patch, Dollar Spot, and Pythium Blight. Our fungicide program works proactively to protect your turf before disease takes hold. These treatments are especially important during the warm, humid months of May through August when rain and high temperatures create ideal conditions for fungus growth. Preventative fungicide keeps your lawn green, healthy, and uniform all summer long.

Lime Application

Healthy turf starts with balanced soil. We apply premium calcitic lime to adjust soil pH levels, ensuring nutrients are more available to your grass. Fescue thrives in a soil pH of 6–7, and lime applications restore balance so your lawn can fully absorb fertilizers and grow stronger throughout the season.

Aeration, Seeding & Fall Fertilization

Fall is the best time to restore and revitalize your fescue lawn. Our core aeration process loosens compacted soil, improves drainage, and allows oxygen, water, and nutrients to penetrate deep into the root zone. After aeration, we overseed with premium fescue seed to thicken and repair turf density. Finally, a starter fertilizer is applied to encourage rapid germination and strong root establishment. This combination creates a healthier, more resilient lawn heading into winter.

Insect Control

Lawn-damaging insects like grubs, chinch bugs, and armyworms live beneath the soil and feed on grass roots, causing brown spots and turf decline. Our broad-spectrum insecticide treatments stop these pests before they cause serious damage. Applied in the summer, these treatments protect your lawn during peak insect activity, ensuring your grass stays lush and healthy.

Soil Testing & Nutrient Balancing (NEW)

To give your lawn exactly what it needs, we offer professional soil testing. This identifies nutrient deficiencies and pH levels, allowing us to fine-tune fertilization and lime applications for maximum effectiveness. Tailoring treatments to your soil ensures healthier, more resilient turf year-round.
